Websites for Small Biz welcomes guest post submissions. Here are some guidelines for guest bloggers:
- Topics: your post should cover one of these general topics
- Technical information, especially related to building or maintaining websites (subtopic examples: WordPress, SEO, coding, security, Drupal, Joomla, CSS, HTML, jQuery, PHP, web hosting, domain names, incoming links)
- Business information, particularly for small businesses, non-profits or bloggers
- Social Media – Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn or any other of the many social media, blogs, blogging for business
- Design – designs that will look good on a website or as part of a marketing campaign, logos, print vs. web, mobile design, responsive design
- Photography – how to take better photos; how to select photos for a website
- Link Requirements and Policies
Please limit the number of links in your post and be sure they are relevant to the topic. If a guest post has too many outgoing links, I will either remove some or reject the post. - Images: you may submit images as part of your post; however, they will need to be properly credited. I may add images to the post as I see fit.
If you would like to write a guest post for this blog, please submit the following information via this contact form: your idea for the guest post, your blog link (in the box provided – it says optional, but it’s required for a guest post inquiry), and a sentence or two describing the guest post. If it the post sounds like a good fit for this blog, we can do the rest by email. I will only accept guest posts with a real person’s name, not a business name.
Also, if you would like me (Leora Wenger) to write a guest post for your blog, I would be happy to do so. Feel free to contact me and ask. Please be aware that I will probably have more time to do so in the winter months or the summer months – fall and spring are my busy work periods.
